Like many others, real plays of tabletop role-playing games became my lockdown panacea - my first and favourite being The Adventure Zone, a podcast where three brothers and their father play dungeons and dragons and, predictably, hilarity ensues. This illustration was inspired by episode 16 of The Adventure Zone: Graduation. I credit The Adventure Zone with sparking my love of D&D, a hobby that’s brought me some wonderful new friends, as well as and introducing to me to a fan community that routinely supports my work. I’m also very grateful to have been featured in The Adventure Zone ‘Boycloaks’ fanzine as well as having been trusted as a designer on the project.
